This position is responsible for marketing Thomasville to promote tourism to the area and support the growth of film which will create a positive economic impact for the community. Work involves managing the operations of the Visitors Center and overseeing group travel to Thomasville and Thomas County. The position requires working with tour group leaders, building their itineraries, creating FAM tours as well as overseeing Visitors Center full time and part time employees. It also involves working with film producers, location scouts, and film crews becoming a liaison between the City and the film industry.
